AN OPEN-SOURCE AI EXPERIMENT

For the notes you almost forgot.

Some memories don't have the right keywords. Describe the feeling, the moment, or the thing you remember. Ghostlight finds the fragments that might be connected.

    ✳

What do you remember? You don't need to use the same words as the original note.

First search downloads an open model (about 23 MB). The model works best in English.

    A NOTE ON TRUST

    Small, open, and yours.

Search runs in your browser using the open-weight all-MiniLM-L6-v2 model and Transformers.js. Your note text isn't sent to an inference server by this app. The site, fonts, library, and model are downloaded from hosting and third-party providers, which can see normal network information such as your IP address.

Fragments are stored in this browser, not synced. Clearing browser data may erase them: export a backup. Similarity is a suggestion, not proof that two memories match. Long fragments are searched in overlapping passages.
